Meet the Writers of Singularity

Most of what you read here is autobiographical. True life stuff that could be fiction, but isn’t.

That said, I have been known to try my hand at fiction from time to time and if you’d like a little taste you should head over to Who Is Jessica? today.

You’ll get to know a little bit about a project I am working on with some other terrific authors and read a separate piece of fiction I wrote a little while ago…the first I had the guts to publish to the world.

I’d love for you to give it a read and get excited about Singularity. It promises to be very, very interesting.

On the Blog Road: Original Bunker Punks

On the quiet morning I sat at my desk working and he entered my thoughts with dogged determination, I stopped what I was doing and started a search. My first stop (isn’t it always these days?) was Facebook and I found nothing. So I dug a little deeper, a special skill I have, and I found a list of men with his name and picked the one with the correct birth date. There was only one problem.

Today, the rest of the story is being told at Original Bunker Punks. I’d love to see you there.

That Was Then, This Is Now

I am an alcoholic and an addict. I have made so many mistakes in this lifetime, some of which I can never make right. I have caused emotional and spiritual damage to myself and others that cannot be undone. I worshipped a devil and in the process a part of me is forever lost.

For years I walked a path of self-destruction and could never quite succeed in dying, the only thing I thought could bring me peace.

I was wrong.

This is part of a letter I wrote to myself as a part of my recovery from alcoholism and addiction. The full letter, the first part of which I wrote in 1997, is on The Sisterwives today.

I added to it just this week, almost 18 years later.

You can find it here.

I Am Fine

It’s always nice to be asked to write for someone else. It is especially flattering when the person asking happens to be one of the most incredible people you know. HastyWords is a talented writer and poet, having such a gift with words. It is my absolute pleasure to be a guest on her blog today.

If you’re the least bit curious, and you know you are, you should click below on the age old question to read my thoughts on the ever popular answer.

How are you?
